This is such a fun and interactive experience. They have sooo many options. It was a smooth and easy process and their staff are very helpful if you have any questions. The music was great too. I had a nice lunch and got some work done too. So many toppings and seasonings as well. Made it perfect to my liking

NOTICE: This isn't a bad/negative review but rather a way to take caution hence the 4 stars as I also wanted to share my experience. I've seen this issue happen at another self-serve ramen place where a bowl had a burn't hole through it during or after cooking. Whelp... it finally happened to me. To cut to the chase, NO this is not gonna stop me from going here because I genuinly to like this place and I do wanna go back time to time. 50% off on ramen choices that are about to expire and it's open right next door to a Matcha Cafe with a Bar in Ramen Station? Pshhhh solid deal for me! And there's not many self-serving ramen stations around SD that I know of. I followed the instructions as is and put the egg in as stated in the bowl while the ramen cooker was cooking the ramen. The hole formed and was a burn't on the egg which gave a burning smell as I was cooking. Come to think of it, I stirred the ramen as well as I could except the egg as I didn't wanna break it so that's user error on my end ADMITTEDLY. Also the egg being the heavier item, it put pressure on the bottom of the bowl to where it possibly touched the stove-top part of the ramen cooker... (which was HOT as it was coo

A really fun experience, plus a great casual dinning option. A great bar with some real good local drinks. Lets talk food. A wide variety of instant ramen noodle types. Some higher end some traditional cheap grocery store ramen packets, You choose. Next pick your toppings, this is the personal touch that really makes the meal. Add in a drink or a snack to go with it. The cooking is simple, empty packets into bowl push button and stir. Very convenient that a Matcha place is connected if you want to desert or sweet drinks. I really like this place and will definitely come again, amd is a great place for a casual date.

This is a very fun and delicious "Self Serve" Ramen restaurant. You pick store packaged instant ramen from a wide selection and from different countries. Then choose some extra toppings and a drink, then self cook you ramen with pretty ingenious hot water/cooking stations. It's a lot of fun, and enjoyable to do. It is also connected to a dessert restaurant called "Matcha Cafe Maiko", so you can have some excellent dessert as well. They have a small bar here - which has a nice selection of craft beers. Only 2 things I would change - it is a bit confusing as to which water number to pick when cooking (you have a choice of M1, M2 or M3) - so it would be nice if they put the numbers on the ramen packages. The second thing is that the cooking stations get really hot, so watch your little ones closely they thy don't touch the cooking areas. But, overall it was a lot of fun, and a great place to come with friends. I'll definitely be back!

I just came back from a trip to South Korea and was so excited a place like this opened in San Diego!! Itβs a new space next to matcha cafe maiko - ramen and ice cream, what a perfect combination! Itβs such a fun experience, the staff was so kind and helpful, and the place is well-stocked with instant ramen and various toppings (fish cakes, spam, cheese, etc.). Green onions, mayo, and sriracha are complimentary! (: I highly recommend adding cheese and mayo to your noodles for extra creaminess. For the grand opening, itβd be amazing if there were eggs / pasteurized eggs and meat options available to add as toppings! We tried the white jjampong and dry neoguri noodles for the first time and they were sooo good! Itβs nice to be able to try different instant ramens without buying a whole pack.
